PASQUALLI (1/3), 2 3/4, DIES IN HIS STAMFORD HOME
The second 1/3 of Pasqualli the goldfish, a Stamford resident, died Wednesday evening, April 28, at home. He was 2 3/4.
He died peacefully of natural causes, with his loved ones by his side, according to family.
Born in 2001, Pasqualli was won at the Danbury Fair carnival by his loving owner, Karen (Bunny) Elizabeth Hirsch of Stamford. He grew up in Shelton and moved to Stamford at age 1.
He is survived by the remaining 1/3 of Pasqualli. He is also survived by a friend, Heath the betta, of Shelton.
He was predeceased by the other 1/3 of Pasqualli, who died July 15, 2003. He was also predeceased by a ladyfriend, Penelope, of Shelton.
The family speculates the recently deceased Pasqualli and the remaning Pasqualli were in love, and they may have "bumped off" the first Pasqualli in July 2003. The remaning Pasqualli is "on death's door," and is "not looking so good this morning," according to family.
Burial was private Wednesday evening at his Morgan Street home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that fish owners never starve their fish so that they will love them.
